The genesis of this Endeavour to contribute to the eclectic world of art can be traced to the Late Artist P. Khemraj, called as “KHEM” by his friends . A multi faceted personality and a painter who dared to experiment and break new fields in the world of art – which trendsetting quality aptly earned him the encomium of “The Renaissance Man”.
Not withstanding his own personal exemplary accomplishments, his true desire and dream was to create widespread awareness of art, have cultural interactions between various artists from different parts of the world, in India.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
DHAARNA has graduated from Delhi College Of Arts, with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. She is a Painter with a passion for Singing. She has won many accolades Nationally & Internationally. She was the winner of Young Upcoming Artist of the Year 2004 in Seoul, Korea.
It was because of her erstwhile Father/Guru Artist P/ Khemraj that she was attracted into this beautiful art form of Murals. Artist P. Khemraj was a Painter/Muralist/Percussionist of repute.
DHAARNA’s Murals can be seen in most of the corporate houses and Public Sector Enterprises.
Dhaarna, has worked in co-operation with architects, designers, art commissions & corporate representatives. She strongly believes that her Art should involve challenge and inspire the viewer. It should not simply adorn but integrate with its architectural surroundings
